The analysis of rare earth elements in mineral ores guides searches for new mineral resources. Even at low concentration, rare earth elements in the lanthanum - tantalum range can be measured very precisely, in just a few minutes.
Our equipment evaluates the K-line fluorescence of rare earth elements: this region gives strong signal even from very low concentration samples. The illustration shows the lutetium peaks of a sample material - all four K-line peaks are very clearly measured.
Our instrument’s relatively compact size and low power consumption facilitates it use in the field. Each obtained mineral sample can be analyzed on the spot, and even traces of rare earth elements show up right away.
