The concentration of arsenic, cadmium, mercury, lead, or other heavy metals can be measured very precisely from hair samples, in just a few minutes.
Another benefit of hair sample analysis is that it gauges the mineralization status of the body, which is a useful health assessment. The analysis of hair samples quickly reveals the potential deficiency of needed elements, before symptoms of illness arise. The concentration of essential minerals, such as copper, zinc, selenium, or iodine can be measured very precisely from hair samples, within just a few minutes. Deficiencies in any of these elements lead to numerous health complications whose root causes can be difficult to determine from symptoms alone. Hair samples based analysis is the simplest and fastest method of gauging deficiencies of copper, zinc, selenium, or iodine.
For example, hair contains 0.5 ppm iodine when the body’s iodine level is adequate. Similarly, hair contains 0.6 ppm selenium when the body’s selenium level is adequate. A deficiency of any of these elements leads to thyroid dysfunction, as well as other complications. Our instrument is capable of detecting iodine or selenium deficiency in just a few minutes.
